Penguin Ornament.

Good Morning my Friends and Family, I hope all had a great Holiday full of family and friends and warmth and love! I was so excited when I received this precious little penguin for my post this week... I decided to have my 8 yr. old little girl help me and get her into the joy of crafting... She put the stickles and did a little coloring. I think she did a awesome job, and she has fun that was the most important thing... I will laminate the ornament when it is fully dried and place it up in the house for decoration.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the shape of the ornament and then stamped the little ornaments all around the penguin. I used my Pro makers, Winsor and Newton, to color in the images. If you don't know the quality of these markers, check them out! They are way cheaper than Copics and work just as well. I got some more the other day for 2.99 a marker for a Black Friday Sale at Micheal's..
Back to the ornament, sorry went on a tangent... I used 80 pound card stock for the base, that gives it a good sturdiness, the image is printed on a white card stock... I hope you all enjoy and have a great weekend.. Remember, Home Made is Always Better...

No Peeking Christmas Card

Here here is my Saturday posting for Sunsational Stamps and I used the image No Peeking for my card today.

I found the idea of the card layout while searching Pinterest and thought this would be a cool card.  The design paper is Christmas wrapping paper purchased at the local Dollar Tree which replaced the sentiment/title "No Peeking".

I used my copic markers for coloring the image, along with Wink by Stella glitter pens for the dots and ribbon on the lid.  I placed the wrapping paper on red cardstock and than used foam tape to glue to the main card.

Thank you for stopping by, and hope you all survived Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.  Blessings to all and have a safe holiday weekend.

Hello Clarice

Hee, hee, did I get you with that title?  Do you remember Miss Clarice?
She was Rudolph's girlfriend!  I used some paper I've had for ages to make the card more fun.

Christmas Tree-mendous!

Holiday Greetings!  As soon as I saw 'Christmas Be Filled With Joy' set by Sunsational Stamps, I knew I HAD to have it!  With all the different elements, the creative options are endless.
Here is my card for this week, and I only used 4 of the 13 images.  That is a tree-mendous bang for your holiday buck!

I printed these images large enough to make a 5x7 card.  I colored the images with a mix of Distress and alcohol markers.  I die cut out the word JOY four times and layered them to give it a little more pop.  I highlighted areas of the ornament with Wink of Stella and mounted it all on a Karen Foster Designs patterned paper from my stash.  I am displaying the full set of these images to show you how many different elements there are in this set.  The snow flakes are next on my list!
Head on over to Sunsational Stamps to purchase this and many more images.
