Life Is So Sweet

Hi everyone, Sorry I am late with my creation. I won't bore you with why.

I chose to use the Life Is So Sweet stamps. I absolutely love this little guy so much I have used him a few times now.

He is in a blog hop today so please check him out here crafting with blue.

Hot Diggity Dog Birthday Card

From this image

I created this birthday card:

Using copic markers, I colored the Dog in shades of brown, and eyes with blue from Stampin! Up; and the nose with Black Distressed Marker and than applied glossy accents to his nose for a wet look.  The sentiment from Internet/Google search and applied flat buttons/beads to the corners of the mat, sentiment tag and card corner.

I first print and cut the card base with my Silhouette Studio DE.  Actually the sentiment (front and inside go together, I just ungrouped it in my software so I can print separately.)

Thank you for visiting with me today, and happy crafting this last weekend of May.

Welcome to DT Member Jackie Lodge!!

Hi Just a quick post to introduce you to DT member Jackie Lodge. Jackie has been with us for a while but had many things going on in her life that kept her from crafting. She is now back in the craft room and creating beautiful and fun projects.
So her she is Jackie Lodge

My short bio
I love spending time being creative. A few of my favorites are card making, mixed media, water colors, scrapbooking- project life.
I'm very passionate about digi's , stamps and doll stamps. I absolutely love them !!! I could literally spend hours coloring, embellishing and altering them . I have a small journal I've stamped every page ahead and take it everywhere. To practice techniques and shading.
I'm married to a man I adore. I have 3 pretty terrific children. One yellow lab and one black cat ....all of the above are dearly loved and fairly spoiled .
Here is a sample of her work

How cute is this  The stamp can be found here Precious
So happy to have you back in the craft room and creating your beautiful cards for Sunsational Stamps!!

Spring is blooming by Marji

I used 2 sets on my card today.  I mounted the cloud on an Action Wobble so it looks like he's shaking his tears on the flowers to water them.

I used my sand again to add some texture for the nose and the dirt.

You can click the images below to order your own sets.

Cely Post - Jacob Black Card

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans! Cely here on this awesome Tuesday with my DT project! I'll be here every Tuesday with a new one, so check back every week!

I used the stamp set Ancient Critters.  I think this guy is supposed to be some kind of arctic wolf creature? LOL I don't even know! He looked like a wolf to me and I needed a card to send the owner of the Jacob Black house in La Push, where I stayed the other weekend. I colored him up with colored pencils, so he had a fur type look to him. Plus I knew that wolf Jacob has many different colors of fur, and I wanted to blend them seamlessly. I added more features to his eyes (eyeliner, nose) so he looked more like Jacob. The sentiment reads, "sometimes I think you like me better as a wolf." - Jacob Black, which is a quote from the book, Eclipse.

And me in front of Jacob's house! :)

Hope you liked my project! Go here to visit the Sunsational Stamps shop!

Birthday Elephants

I am very proud of these cards, they turned out pretty darn cute I think!

I just had to use a pair of my eye lash google eyes on this cutie as she's carried away by her balloon.

This one I "painted" with some cool sand I found on clearance.
I'd not seen them before, they are a lot of fun to use!
How cute right?  I just used my liquid glue to keep some texture to the image.

This is what I used, it's really similar to the sand they use in the kids' crafts, very fine.
