Beachy Island by Marji

Today I'm using the adorable monkey in a palm tree image.
I stamped him with my Versafine ink and colored him with my sharpies.  I added highlights with my white gel pen.

After I colored him, I die cut using an oval die then layerd the card with some designer paper to create the beach island look.

 Adorable right? I love him!

Be sure to head to the shop and see what's new!
The image I used is called Monkey in Tree

Let's Go Fishing

Hello Sunny Friends - Annie here bringing today's project.

This month we're creating projects based on Camping and Nature. We're having a Camping/Nature Challenge on our Facebook Group - Sunsational Stamps ChallengesThe other Design Team members have made some really amazing projects.

I too wanted to bring you another fun project. I made a corner fold pop up card that opens up to a wonderful fishing scene. I truly wanted to bring you to the campground and on the boat with our little bear friends. I used several stamp sets to create all the components for my card. I enjoy mixing and matching my stamp sets and these really lend themselves well for this.

I used the following sets - which all can be purchased at the Sunsational Stamps Store:

Go Fishing                    Camp More                   Canada Day          Woodsy Critters

This is the card I made.
This is the outside of the card. I left it blank for now.

I hope I inspired you to want to create your own camping/nature scene card and join us over at the Facebook group - Sunsational Stamps Challenges - where you can enter your wonderful project. You can find all of the sets I used and more at the Sunsational Stamps Store

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sunsational Stamps Halloween Card

Hi guys, Izabella here. This is a Halloween project I have made. I am really exited for the fall. I leave in Florida, so we don't see it for very long. Here you go, a Halloween card!

I am using a A2 size card base for this card, and a little strip that i colored using my Distress inks (walnut stain and ground espresso). I colored my pumpkins with my Spectrum Noir markers and added some googly eyes. I adhere my pumpkins with some foam squares to my smaller front panel. I used some ribbon, button and some bakers twine to add some interest to the top of my card. Also I cut and colored my sentiment with my colored pens and adhere it with foam squares to the bottom of my card. Then I adhere my small strip to my card base with some craft fun foam.
I think this is a easy but fun card!
You can find this stamp and many more @http://sunsationalstamps.com/ or on a Facebook page @ http://facebook.com/sunsationalstamps

Wild About You!

It's Margreet here today to share some inspiration with you using one of the cute ostriches from the digi Wild About You which is for sale in the Sunsational Stamps Store.

I colored with Zig Clean Colors and then die cut with a fish tale die. Layered it on a dark blue paper which was completely covered with a die full of dots and stars, which was layered on yellow cardstock. Then a dotted paper and finally a double folded card.
The sentiment was die cut with a banner die and an orange heart to finish.

You can still enter the August challenge 'Camping'. You may enter maximal 3 times and you may also use stamps or digi's from another brand. But if you do use a Sunsational Stamp, please tell us which one and you get another chance of winning.

Wishing you a nice day!

Getting So Big

Hi Everyone
Another one of my cards |I created using stamps from Sunsational Stamps. To create this card I used a printed paper as background. Colored in the monster, added a saying using some blue cardstock to make it stand out a bit more and die cut the circle in blue and added a number 2 in blue. This card is very basic but sure would brighten any little ones faces to receive this card on their special day. The stamp set can be viewed or purchased following this link.
http://sunsationalstamps.com/product/getting-so-big/, you can also view other stamps in the store.
Some other projects can be viewed on my blog, http://scrappylorrhen.blogspot.ca/

Fishing You Were Here

Greetings, today we are going fishing!  I just LOVE these adorable bears and this Go Fishing set from Sunsational Stamps is so versatile.  You can use this digi set for so many occasions.

The background was super easy, I used my eBosser to cut out two sizes of stitched squares and a stitched circle, as well as the stitched clouds from Lawn Fawn.  I used paper scraps from my stash, so I am not sure who the manufacturer is, but I do know they are old enough to have been discontinued. teehee...

I purposely colored the canoe with the lines to show wooden boards.  I colored all the elements with alcohol markers and fussy cut them out.  I popped up the canoe with foam tape to give it dimension.  I put it all on a Poppy colored base from Close To My Heart and then added it all onto a Lagoon cardstock card base also from CTMH.

I hope you liked today's card.  Please follow the blog by clicking on the "Follow Me" button.  Like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram so you don't miss a thing!

Happy fishing…I mean scrapping'

Hello Summer with Daisy

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with another post for Sunsational Stamps.

I've used Daisy - isn't she adorable?

I found some summery paper in my stash and new if I colored her with colored pencils in similar colors, she would be adorable!

Using Spellbinders dies, I die cut her and added her to the card atop some bright yellow cardstock.   A simple hello was added to the corner.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Camping fun!

Hello there! Can you believe August is almost half over?! ugh! How does this happen?
Well, this month at Sunsational stamps, our theme is camping!
Now, for me? I need a real bathroom and shower and an actual mattress, and I really need air conditioning, so this scene I created is not for me!
But they look like they are having a great time!

For my card, I used the Camp out set and the Arctic animals and turned the wolf into a puppy.
I colored the images with pencils then blended with gamsol. I left the door to the tent scratchy to simulate a screen, don't tents have a screen you can leave open?

I added some fun floral paper to brighten it up and of course it folds flat for mailing. I love how it turned out.

I hope you will link up with us in our challenge this month!

Camping Bear

It's Helen here today to share some inspiration with you using one of the great stamp sets from Sunsational Stamps.

I've used the very cute 'Camping Bear' set which you can find here on the website.

I've used two of the stamps from the set to create my card.  The camp fire was stamped and coloured with Promarkers and then I used some clear glitter pen over the top.

I paper pieced the sleeping bag using some gingham paper from Craft Creations and then stamped the bear on to white card and added this over the top of the sleeping bag.

The sentiment is from a magazine stamp set and I've layered more gingham paper and some dark brown paper behind the image.

Don't forget that the theme for our August challenge is 'camping' - take a look here for all the details.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Welcome to the Sunsational Campgrounds

Hello Sunny Friends - Annie here bringing today's project.

This month we're creating projects based on Camping and Nature. We're having a Camping/Nature Challenge on our Facebook Group - Sunsational Stamps Challenges. The other Design Team members have made some really amazing projects.

I too wanted to bring you a fun project. I made a gate fold card that opens up to a wonderful camping scene. I truly wanted to bring you to the campground. I used several stamp sets to create all the components for my card. I enjoy mixing and matching my stamp sets and these really lend themselves well for this.

I used the following sets - which all can be purchased at the Sunsational Stamps Store:
Camp out                                Camp More            Woodsy Critters              Canada Day

Here is my card - Front I drew & fussy cut out the tree post for my sign. The letter I used are a font on my computer. I used pattern paper(small trees- Paper Studio - Hobby Lobby) for the background. I then colored the paper with TH Distress Oxide Inks. to make the sky and ground.

When you open the card you see the camping scene all with a loving couple toasting marshmallow by the fire, sipping on cocoa and a night sky, woodland critters peaking in on them.
I used again Distress Oxide ink to create the sky and ground. All critters, bears, trees, mountains and camping equipment were colored with PrismaColor Colored pencils. Foil paper was used for the moon and some Zig Wink of Stella was used on the fire and love hearts. The sentiment was placed just over the tree reads: Like campfires and marshmallows, we're better together!

I hope I inspired you to want to create your own camping/nature scene card and join us over at the Facebook group - Sunsational Stamps Challenges - where you can enter your wonderful project. You can find all of the sets I used and more at the Sunsational Stamps Store

Camp More!!

Hi everyone!!

It´s Noe  from SCN blog here a little late, sorry, problems with internet acces... But as we say in Spain, "it´s never late if the happiness is good!"... So I came to show you a new card that I made using Camp More Worry Less digi set from Sunsational Stamps.

I always loved to go camping ... So while doing this card came to my mind very good memories of my time as Girl Scout!

It´s a very simple card to make, just color these beautiful stamps, in my case using Copics Markers, choose a background paper that you like, and create a small circular background (also using Copics) in which to place the created scene.

Finally, put the sentiment printed in the bottom of the card ... Ready !! You got it !!
