Heidi the Witch

A new month means a new challenge at the Sunsational Stamps blog. The theme for this month is HALLOWEEN.
You may enter with a maximum of 3 times and the use of a stamp or digi from another company is allowed. If you use a Sunsational Stamps' image, tell us which one for an extra chance to win.

I made a card with digi Heidi the Witch, which you can find HERE in the webshop.
I printed the digi 2x, of which 1x on copypapers. I cut this one and masked it on the digi in order to color the moon with Pan Pastel first.
Then I used a fixative, removed the mask and colored the digi with Copics.
At the left top I put a spider's web with a spider and at the bottom several black cats.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Having One Of Those Days?

Hi All! Margreet here.
Today I want to share some inspiration with you using one of the cute ostriches from the digi Wild About You which is for sale in the Sunsational Stamps Store.  I earlier made a card with one of the lovely ostriches, which you can find here.
I have colored with copics and I die cut the digi, just as the matching text, with a Crealies' die. I fastened the text with foam. Some eye candy for the finishing touch.

You can still enter the September challenge 'Fall'.
Don't forget to visit the Facebook Fan page and the Sunsational Stamps blog for some inspiration of the other DT members.

Thanks for visiting and I wish you a nice day!

Camp out

Hi all, Margreet here today with another post for Sunsational Stamps. We are celebrating summer and therefore I made a camping card (as the new challenge this month is "Camping").
I combined 2 sets of digi stamps: Camp Out and Woodsy Critters.
I started with the shape, using a Dutch Doobadoo stencil. Then I made the ground and the sky with Tim Holtz distress inks. To make the clouds I used the Dutch Doobadoo cloud mask.
I colored all elements with copics.
I fussy cut all the elements and positioned them on the card, using foam adhesive for some to give dimension.
I had great fun putting it all together. Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Tons of Fun

I made a card with the new set Tons of Fun which will be coming soon in the Sunsational Stamps Store.
I fancy cut one of the elephants after coloring with Copics, put on a Christmas hat, which I colored and made the fur with Flower Soft.
Here you see a mouse and a present from the set, and both are sticked on foam.
One of the funny sentiments, also stuck on foam.

You can still enter the Challenge 'Christmas in July'. You may enter maximal 3 times and you may also use stamps or digi's from another brand. But if you do use a Sunsational Stamp, please tell us which one and you get another chance of winning.

Summer Picnic Fun

Hello there, crafty friends!  It’s Sharon, One Crafty Mrs, from A Piece Of (my) Heart's blog and I’m here today to share another card using this cute Sunsational Stamps digi named Daisy.  You can find her in the store, here.

Daisy At The Beach-june 12-ocm-SS

This card was made using digital papers from Pixel Scrapper.  I’ve really come to like using them as I can pick and choose what I want and there is no waste of pieces I will never use like sometimes happens with paper packs.  It doesn’t seem to take up a lot of ink like I thought it might either.  I think, in the long run, it’s probably cheaper.

I cut an 8.5x11-inch 110lb piece of cardstock at 5.5-inches on the long side.  This makes a top-folding A2 card.  I chose the yellow with white polka dots digital paper and cut that to 4.25x5.5-inches and adhered that to my card front.  It completely covered the front of the card.  Then I cut the “Life’s A Picnic” cardstock to 3.75x5-inches and adhered it on top of the previous piece.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the free clipart picnic scene and added a black mat behind it.  I also cut a free clipart umbrella to add to the scene and I popped it up with some dimensionals.

Daisy At The Beach Copics-june 12-ocm-SS

Daisy was cut with my Cameo and I colored her with Copics see color chart).  Then I popped her up onto the beach blanket with dimensionals.

I hope you love my card as much as I do!

That’s it for me today.   Stop by the Sunsational Stamps Store and check out all the great stamps Lisa has available.  And don’t forget to visit the Facebook Fan page and the Sunsational Stamps blog for some fabulous inspiration from the other amazing Design Team members.

See you again in a couple of weeks when I will be back to share some more great stamps by Lisa!  In the meantime, take a minute to come and visit me on my blog - A Piece Of (My) Heart.

Life's a Beach Card

The finished card looks like this:

 Supplies used:
-Beach Barb:  http://sunsationalstamps.com/product/beach-barb/
-Fun in the Sun by Peachy Keen Stamps.
-Beach Set by Hero Art Stamps.
-Wild Honey, Peacock Feathers, and Tumbled Glass from Distress Inks by Ranger.
-Sparkle Shimmer Spritz by Imagine Crafts.
-White Smooth A2 Cards and Envelopes by Core-dinations.

-Clear Glitter Wink of Stella Brush.
Today I created a beach scene card using Beach Barb from Sunsational Stamps. I used distress inks to create the beach scene. I used Copic Markers to color Beach Barb and the other characters. The other characters came from a Peachy Keen Beach Set and a Hero Arts Beach Set. You can find the video of how I made this card on YouTube at Beach Scene Card Part 1 and Beach Scene Card Part 2.
