Stinking Cute Valentine

Here is another Valentine for one of my grandbabies.
I used the Stinking Cute Valentine image

I made a center step card and used some left over scraps from the Happy Days digital paper pack from Art By Miran ...I love it so much I couldn't waste it.  I colored the image and sentiment with Distress Markers

I Whaley Love You!

Happy Fourth Wednesday of January!  Today is the fourth installment of my Old School style Valentines.  We used the whaley adorable I Whaley Love You set from Sunsational Stamps.
I Whaley Love You! Card
I Whaley Love You! Card
I used my eBosser and the large wood grain embossing folder, but I ran my paper in sideways so it would look like water instead of wood.  ;)  I die cut stitched circles, one in the white card base and the next size up in the blue embossed paper.

I colored the whales with ShinHan alcohol markers and sponged Tumbled Glass Distress ink on the background.  I added white gel pen dots to the water spouts.  The final touch was to put Clear Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh and little red enamel hearts from CTMH.
I hope you enjoyed today's card.  Please head on over to my blog at Paper Canvas Creations to see what we are up to.  We would love it if you would follow our blog by clicking on the "Follow Me" button and Like us on Facebook.

Sweet Valentine and Theraputic Coloring

This is the first of the Valentine's I'm making for my grandkids.
The one I'm using here is
Besides the fact that it is adorble, it is also easy to color.

On Theraputic Coloring....I used colored pencils to color this image.  For me there are some images that are more relaxing and theraputic to color than others.  I find Sunsational Stamps fit into that catagory.  Sometimes I just need to relax without having to worry about a ton of detail and shading and such.  I think we all need times to color just to relax...so grab a Sunsatonal Stamp image and enjoy yourself :)

If you are wondering about those glassy eyes....that was done with Liquid Glass from CTMH ...I thought it helped the eyes look more realistic.

Bee Mine!

Buzzing by to say hi!  Today is my third in the series of old school style Valentines.  I used Bee Mine from Sunsational Stamps, it is so adorable and old-school that I could not resist!

I punched two holes for adding a lollipop to this classic old-school design.  The design itself was colored using ShinHan alcohol markers, clear Wink of Stella on the wings and black Wink of Stella on the bee's stripes and words.  The word 'FROM' was stamped using CTMH Typeface stamp set and the bow was crepe paper ribbon I have had in my stash for…ever.  I added a lollipop and it is already in a box of goodies on it's way to one of my besties!
I hope you enjoyed todays card.  Please head on over to my blog at Paper Canvas Creations, and we would love it if you would follow our blog by clicking on the "Follow Me" button and Like us on Facebook so you don't miss a thing!

Sock Monkey Valentine

Today I have a fun shaker card to share with you.  I received a Fuse tool for Christmas from We R Memory Keepers and I LOVE it!  It's so neat and to have all of the shaker elements contained and not have to fight with tiny pieces of foam tape to secure them!  It's wonderful!
So for my card I used the Sock Monkey image.

I used my Cameo to cut the card pieces.  Here are a few views of the card, to keep the glitter moving better I added a little bit of powder to the pocket before sealing it.  Cuts the static out right away.
This is what you see through the pocket when it's standing up.

Here is what the card looks like open.
I like that you can see through the shaker element.

I stamped the monkey 3 times for this card, then cut the pieces out and glued them in place.
For his hat I added some crystal glitter and red glitter.  I used black gel pen on his eyes and nostrils.

Let Me Call You Sweetheart

Happy Wednesday to you!  Today is the second in a set of four Old-style Valentines.  I used these adorable images 'Sherry and Dog with Bone' from Sunsational Stamps.  I colored them with ShinHan alcohol markers and distressed the background with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.  I added a few die cut hearts that I cut with my fabulous eBosser.  I cut the background doily with We R Memory Keepers Mini 8 Punch Rose pattern.  I cut it on Beetle Black cardstock from Doodlebug.  I mounted all that on the card base, and stamped the inside sentiment with CTMH Brushstrokes and January's Stamp Of The Month Beloved Bouquet.

Old School Style Valentines

Amorous greetings to you!  With all the winter holidays behind us we look forward to the days getting longer and hopefully back to warmer temps.  It is also time to start putting together some Valentines.  For the month of January, on Wednesdays, we are going to put together various old school style Valentines.  You know, the kind the kids hand out at school.  I always loved this holiday…first of all I am all about RED and second of all I love---love.  :)  So with no further ado, I will present the first of four Valentines that are super fun to make, and the kids just may want to get in on the creative process as well.
You can find all of our Wednesday Valentines at The Sunsational Stamp Shop, so hop on over there and take a peek at all the fabulous stamps they have.  While over there look around in Scrapping With Lisa's Image Shop for digital images as well.
"No Lion" Valentine Card

This cutie was colored with ShinHan alcohol markers.  I used an Exacto knife to cut into his paws so he could hold his little sign telling the recipient that they are loved.  I mounted it on a piece of red cardstock that I embossed using my CTMH hearts embossing folder and my eBosser.
I hope you enjoyed todays project, please come back next Wednesday for the next Old School Valentine.  Hint:  I used two different stamp sets that can be used for many other occasions.  :)

Happy New Year everyone, I am so glad to be posting today.  I was able to put this card together using my daughters craft supplies and this wonderful Raggedy Ann and Andy.  One of my favorite Sunsational Stamp images.  I collect these wonderful dolls and have my child hood Raggedy Ann.  The ongoing theme for January and Feb is winter/valentines day so I got alittle creative with this image and decided to use it for a Valentines day card for my wonderful husband.  I hope you enjoy it. I enjoyed making it with my daughter.

Happy Winter

Happy Winter my Sweet Crafty Friends...

Today I am posting a cute little card I made from a digi. stamp I received from Sunsational Stamps. This little snow lady is so sweet and cuddly looking. I love the way she is smiling at you with those rosy cheeks..
I used my Prisma Colored Pencils to color her in and then blended her in with Gamsol.. I am so in love with this blending solution! I do not know why I did not purchase it sooner.  The colors just blend so much easier with this product. So if you have not tried it yet, I highly recommend it.
I cut out two circles with my Cameo and used some blending ink to add some blue to the sides to add dimension and color. I also used my Cameo to cut out these little snow flakes out of glittery blue paper and pasted them all around the card. It really added some sparkle and shine to the front of the card.. I place the image on a regular A2 size White Card Stock and Wha La.. A beautiful card for my Niece this month... She is now collecting all the cards I send her, so this one will be extra special with all the glitter and this loving snow lady..
I hope your all having a awesome weekend and will you again on Saturday!
