CAS cards by Marji

Today I'm sharing a group of cards I made using the newest release images.  I decided to make some CAS cards seeing as how postage is a little steep these days and there are so many rules.  Even with the gems on these I'll probably have to add some extra postage but I love them anyway!

The little tree is a half circle folded in a zig zag fashion.

How cute is this image?  I love these mice.

Simple add on of a few gems.

This one I kept even more simple with some pattern paper scalloped ovals.

Same here, Look at his face! He's so happy!

Wishing you and your's a very Merry Christmas!!

Let It Snow, Snow, Snow!

Oh the weather outside is ….. well, where I live it is actually pretty nice out, but that is NOT always the case.  HA!
Today I made a layout for a picture of my daughter catching snowflakes.  The photo was taken her freshman year at college, and where she went, they didn't see much in the way of snow, most often it was ice.

In the photo of her, she is wearing a pretty pink hat and I colored the Mary Christmas image and another Catching Snowflakes (see last week) both of them from Sunsational Stamp Shop.  I die cut snowflakes from a Darice Snowflake Die.  I colored in the image with both Copic and ShinHan alcohol markers.  My Let It Snow stamp is an older hostess set from CTMH.  The images and the photo mat are cut from Bazzill Nautical Dark Blue cardstock and mounted onto Recollections Say Freeze paper line.  There was plenty of sequins snowflakes and Wink of Stella added here and there to give a shimmery, frosty feel.
I hope you enjoyed today's project and we would love it if you would follow our blog by clicking on the "Follow Me" button and Like us on Facebook.  Also, please hop on over to my blog at Paper Canvas Creations to get more inspiration!

Hoo Loves Christmas

This precious little owl is for the December Challenge on Sunsational Stamps! You can find them of Facebook.. Please come and join in the creative fun and show us your creativity!

I colored him with my Promarkers and used stickle for the hat and feet.. I then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the little ornaments you see around him..I also placed him on 60lb. card-stock and used my atg gun to stick him down.. I love the little ribbon, I purchased from Wal Mart, so I placed it on top in a bow just to give it that little extra color.

The little essentials are from Stampin Up and they are placed all around him with a dot of Pearl in the middle of them... I hate just leaving then with the hole in the middle showing.. Just seems like something is missing when I do that..

The card measures to a standard A2 size. This will make it a regular price to mail. I have a Special little niece I will be giving this to.. I know she loves owls and she will love all the bling and pretty colors..

I hope you all enjoy this beautiful little card and make sure you look on facebook and join in the challenge! They have awesome prizes for the winner and so many more beautiful Digi Stamps to chose from on Esty.. So come on over and lets Craft something special for someone special... Remember, Its always better Homemade!

Catching Snowflakes

Happy frosty greetings to you!  Today I was straightening out my craft room and going through my mega-stash when I came across a Project Life album that I had forgotten I won at a crop.  It was then that I had one of those Ah-Ha moments… why not make inserts for my PL book?!  Soooo, I made this card using Sunsational Stamps, Catching Snowflakes image.  She is so darned cute!

I used Stickles to accent the snow drifts and snowflakes on the image as well as creating additional snowflakes on the background.  I colored her in using alcohol markers.
