Ah, Autumn!

Good day!  Do you love autumn as much as I do?  Ah, Autumn is the sentiment I chose from my CTMH collection.  This fabulous image named Fall Tree is from Sunsational Stamps.

I tried a new technique that I thought would add just the right somethin-somethin, and that was Foiling.  I have heard mixed reviews on the MINK foiling machine, so I could not justify buying one until all the bugs are worked out of them…so how did I do it you ask????  I used a laminator.  I happen to follow a terrifically talented artist Jennifer McGuire and she has a YouTube showing how to use a basic laminator for the heat and pressure needed to transfer the foil to the image, and low and behold it worked!  By the way, I borrowed the laminator from my fabulous daughter, love you sweetie!

The trick to getting the foil to stick to the pattern on the paper is to print the design out on a laser jet printer or use a copy machine, the foil needs toner to adhere to the paper.   I printed the Fall Tree image and proceeded to shade in a few of the leaves with a black marker, then I copied it (for the toner).  I heated up the laminator, once the indicator light lit up to let me know it was hot enough, I placed the foil shiny side up onto my design and put it into a folded piece of copy paper, this substituted as a carrier sheet, then I just fed it into the laminator.  I used Spiced marmalade, Peeled Paint, Fossilized Amber & Barn Door Distress markers to color the leaves and Copic E33 & E37 for the tree.  I just love how it turned out!
I plan to use this in a scrapbook layout with some pictures we took at the arboretum last year.
I hope you enjoyed today's post and perhaps it inspired you to try the foiling technique on your next project.  Please be sure to follow our blogs by clicking on the Follow Me button for Sunsational Stamps and follow this link to my blog https://papercanvascreations.wordpress.com to get to Paper Canvas Creations.  We would LOVE it if you would like us on Facebook too, so you don't miss a thing.  Happy Scrapping!

Happy Fall

Hello Crafty Friends.. Today I have a Card that was created with Sunsational Stamps, Digi Stamp. This card was so much fun to be crafty with!
As you can all see, its Happy Fall! The leaves are falling acorns are all over and this little man is sitting and enjoying him a Candy Apple... I placed the Digi Stamp on a book marker and laminated him for sturdiness. I used corn stock twist for the string and also wrapped it around the card to add dimension and a little more fall... He was placed on 80 pound card stock. The back ground paper is from, Stampin up. To color him in I used my Martha Stewart Markers and a little water color for his hat.. I am very proud of him and just love this Digi Stamp and how my card came out! Hope you all have a great weekend and Happy Fall Ya'll!

Love U S'more Everyday

I absolutely love these images!!!  They are from Scrapping With Lisa Designs a division of Sunsational Stamps and is called Love U Smore Everyday

This is a cutting file that includes SVG, PDF, PNG, JPEG, EPS and DXF and works great with machines like Cricut Explore, Cameo, and Silhouette, or can easily be cut by hand.  Or you can just print it out like a pre-colored digi stamp and not cut it.

Apple of my eye by Marji

How pretty is she?  I love her!  I even got Em's approval on this one.
You can find her here
This is a card I have from the SIL store, I took it apart and recreated it with her as the centerpiece.
I love that it stands on it's own and is all one piece.

It's Getting A Little Batty Around Here!

Happy Wednesday to you!  Today's project is a Halloween card using the Batty For You stamp/image from Sunsational Stamps.  If you follow my blog you will see this cute little bat is a favorite of mine.  I wanted to show you another cute way to use him!
Incoming Batty!
Incoming Batty!
I used Simon Says Stamp stitched circle dies, and evenly spaced the 1-3/4 inch circle down the center of the purple cardstock.  I printed the digital image in three sizes so I could make it appear that the bat is flying into the window of the card.  I fussy cut each one out and adhered it to yellow-orange cardstock after coloring each one with alcohol markers.  Then I adhered the panel to a lighter purple card base.

For the inside I used the Spider in the Web image and it is ready to go!
