Woodland creatures part 2

How cute are these guys?  I am really tickled with how they turned out.
I have been on the look out for digital papers and patterns so I can have more versatility with my images.
I added crystal effects to their eyes and noses and some Trendy Twine bows.

Squirrel with Sunflower Recipe Card

Hey there crafty friends, Carolyn here to share my Saturday morning post for Sunsational Stamps using the Squirrel with Sunflower image from the Going a Little Nutty set found here.

I am presently creating a Mini-ablum cookbook as a Fence for the main design...it's a work in progress and thought this Squirrel with a sunflower and pumpkin would be unique for several of the Recipe Cards.  I colored the images with Copic markers and created a back shadow so it could be highlighted on the Recipe Card.  (I am starting with the dessert section for this Recipe Book!)

The slice of pumpkin in lower left corner is from SilhouetteAmerica Online store.  All images was print 'n cut using my Sihouette Cameo along with the recipe card.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with us and happy crafting to you all.

Woodland creatures shaped card set

I made a fun set of note cards using the Woodland friends set.
I used my SIL program to color them in and instead of keeping the black lines for the outlines, I made them white.  I love the soft look it gives them.

I added crystal effects to eyes, beaks and hooves.
And gave them cute twine bows.

I added some glitter dot accents in some areas.
I really love how they came out, what do you think?

Cards by Marji's daughter Emily

When Emily saw these images on my design team page she told me she HAD to have them.  So as soon as I got them from Lisa I printed them out for Em and she sat and made all the cards in one sitting.  This is a first!
We barely get through one card most days before she's ready to move on to a new activity.
She added the "white stroke" as she calls it to Ann's hair using Tim Holtz white distress glitter glue.

She drew a crown on Else's head.

She is so proud of herself making a whole set of cards.

Card using Snowfall Acrylie Stamp set

Good Saturday morning to all, Carolyn here to share my latest card I created using a new acrylic stamp by Lisa of Scrapping with Lisa Designs called Snowfall

I stamped the image, using VersaMark Watermark stamp pad and than applied black embossing powder over the image.  (If you look closely, you will find small black speck dots of black which I had hope would not happen because I rubbed the card piece with my little 'pillow' to remove the static).  Heat embossed the powder, and once I was assured it was dry, I colored in the snow hats, and shoes, and twigs (arms) with my Prismacolor markers.

As this is a 5.50x4.25 size card, the WordArt, Snowfall would not fit, so I stamped the 'Let it Snow' sentiment, and cut this out with my Brother's Scan N Cut electronic machine.  On the Kraft card stock, I embossed the top with snow flakes using my Big Shot embosser, with white ink applied to the inside top of embossing folder.  Not the greatest outcome though.  Layered the Snowmen on two pieces of cut to size matting; and applied with glue to the front of the card stock.  I felt it needed something as it looked blah, I added three button dots to the one corner.  The sentiment was foam taped to the opposite corner.

Ready for a swim, by Marji

Summer, summer, summer!!  Summer!
It's hot as can be and the only time you can be comfortable outside is to be swimming!
And this sweet chick is all set!
I used crystal effects on her glasses, swim ring and ball.  I added a gem to her hair and shoes and the ball's center.  The big bling at the top is to represent the sun.  I also added a small fan sticker to the bottom.
Really love this.
